Water Right Deed May 27- 1912

A hand written exert from the deed from Benjamin Mills, his wife and John Stanford assigning water rights to Forman Hawboldt for his use on April 20, 1912.

Deed for the water rights from Stanford Lake for the use of Hawboldt’s  village water system.

Wording

…Of the same or any part thereof.  To Have and To Hold the said water rights and water privileges and every part thereof unto, and to the use of the said Forman C. Hawboldt his Heirs and Assigns to his and their sole use, benefit and behoof  (sic) forever, in witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto their hands and seals set and affixed the day and year first above written..

Province of Nova Scotia. (Be it Remembered that County of Lunenburg S. S) on this 20th day of April A.D., 1912, before me, the subscriber, personally came and appeared Annie, Wife of Benjamin Mills, mentioned in the foregoing indenture, who having been by me examined separate and apart from her said husband, did declare and acknowledge that she executed the said indenture, as and for her act and deed freely and voluntarily without fear, threat, or compulsion of, from or by her said husband and for a full release of all her claims to the lands herein mentioned.  C.
