At the Fillion Shipyard

Excerpt from a radio interview with François-Xavier, where he talks about his time at Fillion shipyard.
[François-Xavier Lachance] I was working at the shipyard, there was a big shipyard there, building big schooners huh, doing repairs and building schooners. I worked there you see, two, three years, almost.
In the summer, well, when it was slack, I worked elsewhere, you know, I did some, I painted houses, or repairs, you know there was always … When the shipyard was slacking, well it was in June, the boats were all gone, sometimes there were repairs but there were old men. They were the first, the old … I did not stay, I left and I went to work outside.
