Uniform details at flag ceremony

Honour Guard left shoulder patch
September 2015
FMC Collection, DSC_1442
Honour Guard ceremonies are traditionally accompanied by three flag bearers. They carry a national, provincial, and departmental flag. The Guard drill regularly in order to present themselves in the best possible manner. This means that every step needs to be perfect, and even the uniform must be immaculate whilst holding the flag. The patch of the Honour Guard is instantly recognizable, as is their traditional white cap.
