Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony

The bell ceremony at the Fallen Firefighters Memorial commemorates the lives of CFD members who have died as a result of their service. The bell is rung as each name is read out, with the Honour Guard performing the duty. This emotional occasion gives an opportunity for both the public and Department to remember the lives of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Following the bell ringing, the Firefighters Prayer is read by a chosen member, before a wreath laying ceremony.
