Although Calgary doesn’t have a Major League Baseball team, that didn’t stop the Honour Guard from getting their hands on the World Series. After the Blue Jays’ second win in a row in 1993, the trophies toured the country to thank fans for their support. When the silverware arrived in Calgary, they were kept in residence at City Hall. Guard members Rick Choppe and Shannon Pennington took the opportunity to have a photo with the trophies, while giving ceremonial protection.
