Nature turns on it self (Louis Richer)

The hardest thing for me, and everyone else in St. Jean who lived through the ice storm, was the cracking sounds. You heard the sound of trees cracking and branches breaking everywhere. You were in the dark and it was a bit scary. When you went out, you were more or less the only one on the road and you couldn’t afford to make a mistake. Although it was an exhausting time, it was also rewarding and enriching somehow. We learned a lot from that experience.
