Early days on the co-op building site

John Blake continued to capture the “sweat equity” and camaraderie on the worksite throughout the build, from the early days of clearing the land, to the grueling job of making cement and hauling bricks.

Without the wonderful footage John recorded, it is unlikely the children and grandchildren of co-op families would have understood the enormity of the co-operative homebuilding effort. What a delight it has been for them to see their young fathers (or grandfathers) working together and having fun, too.
