| The children of the co-op found endless opportunities for outdoor play – back and front yards when they were younger, but as they grew, the shoreline of the lake or the Forty Mile Creek (for exploring and fishing), or the wooded slopes of the escarpment. At that time, in that place, it was all possible without parental oversight (although, parents would keep an eye on you if you were visible!). |
