Shingling in the Lakedale Co-op

Some jobs were simply backbreaking and others required skill. Sometimes work could be dangerous. Supervisors and inspectors were on hand, but men who had never done construction found the work a challenge. They kept up their motivation through their desire for a home and the inspiration they found in their fellow co-operators and from all the wives and families.
