The Parent Tribute Poster was a collage of the photos of the parents taken at the time of the build. For many of the children raised in the co-op, it was great to see these neighbours and friends as young people starting out. The footage taken by John Blake showed their parents in action, strong and determined and not without humour, even during backbreaking work. For some, the exhibit would be the first time they were learning in such detail about the housing situation that had compelled their parents to take on such a project. They could read about the study guides and the logistics of this co-operative venture. The historical precedents that had made their homes possible were also a revelation to many.
