Bob Walsh, known as “Mr. Co-op” (left), studies his notes as Wilf Worley speaks. During the build Wilf wrote the “King of the Shingleers” song and the “Co-op Prayer.”
A few of the original builders advocated for the park to be dedicated to Bishop Francis Marrocco for inspiring their co-operative effort. After much discussion, the Town agreed to rename the park, and a dedication ceremony was planned.
