A young couple poses proudly in front of the Mont Vernon Hotel. The hotel occupied a prime location after the construction of Route 138 redirected travelers from the road through the village. The advertising poster shows that English-speaking tourists were welcome. The Mont Vernon Hotel was located at 585 Route 138.
