Today, Sylvain Duval’s marshes protect 28 species of freshwater fish and crustaceans (crayfish, yellow perch, pumpkinseed, walleye, bass, pike…), a diverse bird life (herons, raptors, bitterns, ducks…), as well as deer, otters, muskrats and amphibians…
His work is supported by the Fondation de la faune du Québec, Héritage Faune, CAPSA and Société familiale Alliance Forêt Faune.
