Margaret Ayad remembers moving to Bay Roberts with her family

In this audio clip, Margaret Ayad remembers moving to Bay Roberts, where her grandfather worked as station agent at the Bay Roberts train station:

[Margaret Ayad] Well I was actually born on the American naval base, what came to be the American naval base in Argentia. My father and my grandfather both worked with the CN Railway. So my grandfather travelled a lot all over the province. And my father lived and worked on the base. And then, as a young man, he had lived in Bay Roberts because my grandfather was station agent here in Bar Roberts for a while as part of his travels. So he [my father] really liked Bay Roberts and when it came time to make a move, he decided to move here to Bay Roberts. So that’s how I ended up in Bay Roberts.
