Date: 1959
Travellers making their way into northwestern Kawartha Lakes during the 1950s benefited from publications issued by the Ontario Motor League. These booklets, complete with maps, showed drivers the most efficient way to reach their destinations. Pg. 78 in the 1959 edition of the Ontario Motor League Road Book showed motorists how to reach Coboconk via Kirkfield and Victoria Road.
