The flies in the collection of Les Amis des Jardins de Metis number in the hundreds. They are kept in the same boxes where they were placed more than fifty years ago.
Each fly has a particular form and composition. They are tied to take a particular shape, assembled with the feathers of specific birds. Their form and colour is intended to attract a salmon – and to have it rise to take the fly.
