A fishing rod is to a fisherman what an instrument is to a musician. The two are inseparable. This bamboo rod made by Hardy Bros. is a thing of beauty. It has been carefully crafted and tuned to allow for the right weight and balance. Combining lightness and strength, the bamboo rod is reinforced by being wrapped with fine string. Each rod came with a spare tip, because the tip was the weakest and most fragile piece of any rod. The 16-foot rod comes in four poles of equal length, each finished with a brass tip for the join between each piece.
