Acknowledgements
This project was made possible thanks to many different dedicated people.
Toronto Ward Museum (TWM), the grant recipient of this project, is supported by Dr. Zhixi Cecilia Zhuang (MCIP, RPP) as the lead curator and Mariam El Toukhy as co-curator, lead researcher and designer.
The detailed interviews with community members were thoughtfully collected by Toronto Metropolitan University’s student research team during their Masters of Planning in Urban Development Program studio course at the School of Urban and Regional Planning. The team includes Saniel Chand, Konain Edhi, Parvesh Kumar, Rupneet Mangat, Jean-François Obregón, and Federico Palacios under the supervision of Dr. Zhixi Cecilia Zhuang and the mentorship of Dr. Donna Gabaccia, with the support of the project client Brannavy Jeyasundaram at TWM.
This project was also supported by the TWM’s Agincourt Block by Block Team: Sarah Waithe, Daisy Nolasco and Thevya Balendran.
A special thanks is reserved for Edmun Natkunarajah for his personal contributions in connecting us to interview participants, and to Howard Tam for his efforts in organizing an Eat More Scarborough food tour and providing a rich context of Agincourt food.
