During the 1920s and 1930s, Vetcraft workshops were located in larger cities across Canada. In these workshops, disabled First World War veterans made furniture, wooden toys and many other items. The Vetcraft workshops were funded by the Department of Soldiers’ Civil Re-establishment and operated by the Canadian Red Cross.
