International wrestling galas at the Auditorium

In the early 2000s, the Auditorium hosted the annual Christmas wrestling galas of Jacques Rougeau Jr., whose career in the wrestling world spanned 35 years and who organized evenings of family wrestling events. The Verdun Auditorium was one of the favourite places to present this type of event. Between 2,000 and 3,000 people turned out at the arena to see these athletes performing their amusing playacting and acrobatic feats.
