Photograph of the first boys’ school in the Eastern district, located in the residence at 224 Sainte-Marie Street. Founded in 1922 by the Sainte-Marguerite School Board, it was administered by the Catholic School Board up until its closure in 1928. In 2018, this building still exists in what is now called the Weavers’ District.
