Large quantities of loafers

There were 125-150 employees in that space.  Didn’t look like much from the outside, but it was pretty darn big.  2,100 pairs, they had to come out.  It means you don’t have a warehouse in there.  Okay, so there’s a warehouse.  There was maybe enough storage for one or two days, but after that, there had to be a truck that you loaded to empty the lot, otherwise, you’d have no space left.  It’s amazing how many sizes there were.  If I remember right, it went something like this: small shoes, small booties, small boots like you’d see on children, going all the way to women’s shoes.  If you went to Corbeil, you’d get more women and children’s, but mostly children’s.  If you remember the word loafer, if you’ve ever worn loafers, well loafers practically originated at Corbeil.  We were producing loafers in mass quantities.
