In 1955, the duo Les Jérolas, made up of Jérôme Lemay (Jéro) and Jean Lapointe (La), began their career as singers and actors. The partners were a huge success on stages across Quebec and elsewhere, including at the Ed Sullivan Show and the Olympia de Paris.
