Midsummer shows at La Butte

At La Butte à Mathieu, anything could provide an excuse for celebration: spur-of-the-moment parties, New Year’s Eve celebrations, village festivities, corn roasts, weddings, exhibitions, public and crafts markets. The program at La Butte went far beyond the performances for which it was famous. Visitors could take art classes, see and/or participate in exhibitions and contests, swing along at folklore evenings, relax at musical performances in the afternoon, visit the animal and horse enclosures… From morning to night, visitors had fun making new discoveries and making new friends.
