Today, about one hundred Congregation Sisters still live in their Chicoutimi convent, which has been expanded several times over the years, as needs arose. In 1947, a school for future teachers was established inside the immense real estate complex, and a household management school was annexed to the building in 1956. The Teacher-training School was a place of learning for future teachers. The Household Management School, later renamed Family Institute, taught young girls how to become good homemakers. From 1977 to 2007, the annex housed the Lycée du Saguenay (secondary school).
