Box Trap that has Run Aground

This is a good example of a trap with a holding chamber, made of wire mesh. It may have run aground when the tide went out, as it drifted in the St. Lawrence River. Although this box trap now sits in a cove off Saint-Vallier, it was probably originally installed in the Saint-Romuald area.
