Two Indigenous adolescents fishing eel with nigogues, a type of harpoon, in shallow water. This scene took place in 1951 on the Eel River opposite the territory of the Eel River Bar Mi’kmaq First Nation, 3 km south of Dalhousie, New Brunswick.
