Saillebarde

In this photograph, Georges-Henri Lizotte is using a saillebarde to lift eels out of the collecting boxes of his eel traps and load them into a trailer. This prevents the fish from being injured. A saillebarde resembles a very large dip net. It is equipped with a long handle.
