Several fast-paced video excerpts show children, adults and seniors enjoying a variety of fishing activities on or near the water, alone or with families or friends. Many people proudly show off their catches: big fish scooped up in nets or held in their hands. The images also show cottages and the surrounding forest. Aerial shots capture a large body of water whose shores are sometimes lined with beaches, as well as an endless forest of conifers. Close-up of Mr. Caron, in interview format. Aerial video of Route 155 and its traffic. Aerial image of the road following the Saint-Maurice River and the vast expanse of nature, mountains and occasional bodies of water in the distance. On-screen text: Route 155. Image of a road sign indicating “Rivière St-Maurice” [Saint-Maurice River] with trees, and a small bit of the river and the mountain in the background.
Bruno Caron: Mauricie is a region in the centre of Québec, and therefore accessible from all the large urban centres. To get to the region, you can take Route 155, which runs along the Saint-Maurice River and is one of the prettiest highways in Québec.

Bruno Caron: There are 74 outfitters. There’s something for everyone: houseboats on the Gouin Reservoir, log cabins, comfortable lodges in the woods …
A fast-paced succession of video excerpts shows an aerial view of forest accommodations, including cottages, lodges and a houseboat moored at a beach. Bruno Caron: Mauricie is a great region thanks to its natural beauty, its mountains and its many lakes and rivers, as well as to its wide variety of fish species, with brook trout, lake trout, rainbow trout, pike, walleye and others.

Aerial shot of a large island with magnificent sandy beaches, large stretches of water and a majestic mixed coniferous/deciduous forest. Images of anglers standing near a river or sitting in a boat, happily showing off their catches. Several sorts of fish are shown, including a pike, nicknamed the “freshwater shark,” and a brightly coloured walleye with its spiny dorsal fin. There are also images of children having fun with the local wildlife and water sports. Close-up of Bruno Caron, all smiles, in interview format.
Bruno Caron: In Mauricie, our outfitters are now able to host everyone! From the most seasoned, dedicated anglers looking for that big trophy fish to novices who are fishing for the first time and need to borrow equipment, and even families. We’re able to host everyone, because the bite is on in Mauricie!
