The Triton Fish and Game Club Club House
La Seigneurie du Triton’s Private Collection, Lac-Édouard, cica 1893
Alexander Luders Light, the railway engineer tasked with building the railroad, founded the Triton Fish and Game Club in 1893. Upon doing so, Mr. Light made accessible a sprawling territory including a total of 200 lakes.
In 1978, the Quebec government abolished all private clubs. In 1983, Mr. Paul Plourde acquired the site. Then in 1986, Mr. Gilles Tremblay joined the team as director general.
He shared his passion with his family, and today, the Seigneurie du Triton is a family-run business, co-managed by some friends who are equally passionate about the project. The Seigneurie du Triton is a place steeped in history and remains to this day a renowned outfitter..
