The village had access to an excellent train service that every day transported: passengers, mail, supplies, small parcels and other more voluminous merchandise. It was during the war of 1939-1945 that the train service reached its peak. Today, only one station remains—the one built in 1900 after the first one was destroyed in a fire. However, it is no longer in service.
