Travel on the Bay in Spring

This fully loaded canoe is mounted on a sled for spring travel to goose hunting camp when the ice covering James Bay becomes unreliable. A team of 8 or 10 dogs would be harnessed to the sled. The addition of a sail and a favourable wind would speed up the journey.
