Higher Education at Last!

It wasn’t until the early 1970s that Laval residents finally had access to a college in their region. However, the current building, which can be seen here on De l’Avenir Boulevard, didn’t open until 1976. There were 500 students enrolled in 1973, compared with more than 7,500 today. That shows how important education is for dynamic economic development.
