Josephte Daigneault

Josephte Daigneault was born in Boucherville in 1795. She was 23 years old when she married notary François-Georges LePailleur in Montréal.
She gave birth to 9 children in 11 years, three of whom did not reach the age of 4. Among the survivors, Alexandre-Léonard became a doctor in Sainte-Martine; Alfred-Narcisse became a notary in Châteauguay and then in Lachine; Denise Clotilde joined the Sisters of Charity of Montréal (Grey Nuns), and Odile, the Sisters of the Congregation of Notre-Dame.
Josephte died in 1868. Her husband had predeceased her by 34 years.
