Marie Joseph LePailleur

Marie Joseph Wilfrid LePailleur (son of Alfred-Narcisse LePailleur and Philomène Dalton) was born on June 15, 1868. He is one of the many children that the LePailleur family lost in infancy. This picture was taken, as was common at the time, after his death when he was not quite 6 months old. It is noticeable that, although the picture is in black and white, the cheeks of the baby have been turned pink to make him look healthier.
