Joseph Pigeon

Born in 1843 in Roxton Pond QC, died in 1935 in Agassiz BC. Though illiterate, Joseph was a tailor then a hotelier in Roxton Pond QC.

In retirement, he left the Meadow Lake ranch in the hands of Aure and his wife to open the Maple Leaf Hotel at Harrison Hot Springs.

It is uncertain if Joseph’s wife, Josephte Arthurine “Athénaïse” Blain (1853 St-Césaire QC – ?) moved west with her husband or if she joined family in New Hampshire or New York.
