Isidore Boucherie is seated second from the right. Luc Girouard, the first European settler at Vernon stands second from the right. Bernard Lequime, son of Éli Lequime, the first rancher of the Okanagan, is seated second from the left. Bernard was the brother of Gaston, who died in 1889 trying to save Boucherie from a charging bull.
