Hand-written letter from Sir John A. Macdonald to his cousin Minnie from Villa Les Rochers, dated July 1884. In his letter he mentions having received her last note, in which she appears to have been asking him a favour on behalf of a friend. Macdonald also refers to immigrants settling on the prairies.
