Sir John A. Macdonald’s bed is made up for a guest at Villa Les Rochers Bed and Breakfast, St. Patrick, July 2017. This bed frame, stored in the basement since Sir John A.’s death, was rediscovered decades later by descendants of the Symington family; Sir John A.’s Ottawa address was written on a label on one of the bed’s legs.
