William Collis Meredith, Chief Justice of the Quebec Superior Court, and his family were amongst the earliest summer residents in St. Patrick. Here he is photographed with one of his sons, Henry, and his wife, Sofia Naters Holmes, in Montreal, Quebec in 1890.
