Lumby Royalty

Lumby Queen’s Committee Collection

In 1930, Lumby’s May Queen was Dorothy Turnbull with Mabel Algers and Marion Lee as Princesses.  Flower girls were Barbara Morris and Nancy Wheeler.

May Queen’s were sponsored from 1913 to 1963 by the Lumby Women’s Institute.  The first May Queen was Rhea Quesnel in 1913.  The final May Queen was Ann Patrick in 1963.
