Joseph Sr. and Elmire LeBlanc lived a hard life.  Together they found happiness in the life they lived and the family they raised in Lumby.  When Joseph died in 1938, he was remembered as a cheerful man who loved to sing and tap dance.  Elmire died in 1951 and left behind five children, twenty-two grandchildren, forty-seven great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren!
