Lumby Fall Fair Medal

This Director’s medal was worn by Mr. H.C. Catt during the 1925 Lumby Fall Fair.

In 1925, the Lumby Fall Fair Committee included Mrs. D. Inglis as President with Committee members J.A. McMorland, A. Derby, J. Gillians, C. Quesnel and H.C. Catt. Judged entries included: horses, cattle, pigs, poultry, produce, needlework, home cooking, art and crafts.  The admission fee for cattle was $2.00 and $1.00 for produce and poultry.  The entrance fee for all other entries was $.25.  The entry fee was waived if the owner of the article donated the item for auction at the close of the Fair.
