The Kingston Consolidated School, which, as announced by the Telegraph exclusively yesterday, was destroyed by fire on Sunday night, may not be rebuilt. This is but the opinion of some interested, but before any decision is reached the trustees will confer with Sir William Macdonald and Prof. Robertson, Head of the Macdonald Agricultural College.
The main building with all its contents was completely destroyed, but the van shed situated about 100 feet in the rear, was saved, after some little trouble. The building was built about five years ago at a cost of about $25,000 through the generosity of Sir William Macdonald, the Montreal tobacco millionaire.
