School display at JFMM

Miss Sarah Jane Pickett taught in a little school in Kingston that operated until 1892. She and her students watched the 1877 Saint John fire from the school yard. The desks are typical of those found in one-room schools.  The large work bench is the type used in the MCS manual training classroom.
