The road from Lower Kingston

Circa 1900. Rural scene shows a church in the distance at the top of the hill. Homes and farms appear on either side of the steep hill down to the lower part of the town.

The hill leads from Lower Kingston to Upper Kingston and Macdonald School. This landscape reminds Robertson of his native Scotland’s rolling hills.
