Boyd Cohen noted that his Aunt Norma (Shenk) Cohen was quite modern and very good with women’s fashion. Cohen’s brought in a design group from Toronto to redesign the store in Windsor. The interior was all done by a firm called Cameron McIndoe who had done a lot of modern stores. Yvonne Courtney remembers this change which made the shop snazzier and as she says, “Cohen’s had elegance right off the magazine covers.”
