As Roy Oldford recalls, “In the early ‘50s I remember as a young kid growing up not only did you go to buy your groceries there but you left them with him and he delivered them, horse and cart. So the cart would come up. Groceries would be on the back and they would stop at your house and bring in the groceries and away to go. It was a tremendous service.”
