To the left of the main Cohen’s store, S. Cohen & Sons Ltd., is the small store called Cohens’ Furniture Department. This department was spearheaded by Boyd Cohen. He grew the furniture business which eventually overtook the fashion and dry good businesses. Boyd sold the Cohen’s name and furniture business in 1985 and Cohen’s Home Furnishings are still seen across the province in 2018.
