The smell of the chip vans stands out in the memory of Yvonne Courtney, who can remember the scent wafting down Main Street. Corey Sharpe noted that his parents would have a cone of fish and chips at Stroud’s and when they finished their meal they would drink the vinegar from the paper cone!
